Two
pillars still standing.
Testimony,
of a firm foundation.
A
legacy of grace.
Honoring
the maker.
I
stumbled upon these pillars in the midst of woods, their purpose long
hidden. Porch pillars? Picnic shelter? It matters not.
What
matters is they still stand. They remain upright, firmly rooted
despite wind, storm, neglect, even seasons. They have endured.
Ahh,
Lord God, enable me to stand so firmly, unyielding, unwavering,
steadfast. Generations from now, allow me to be a testimony of a firm
foundation, deeply rooted in Your word. May I be a legacy of Your
grace. Oh, that my life will bring glory to Your name!
Long
after others have forgotten the number of children I've had, or the
length of my marriage, after my words on a page are lost and
forgotten, enable me to stand. I want my life to be a pillar of Your
goodness, that others stumble upon, even generations from now.
I
want others to stop and be amazed, and praise my Maker.
And
Lord, I long for others to stand with me.
Philippians
4:1 NASB
---
stand firm in the Lord, my beloved.
