Burdens
are cast down.
Hues
scattered at their feet.
In
freedom, branches wave.
I
imagine His throne.
Prayers
strewn at His feet.
Layers
of burdens cast down.
Does
it not say, “Cast your cares upon Him.” 1 Peter 5:7?
And
are not cares burdensome?
Could
not these same weights be brought?
Thrown
down with abandon?
And
in freedom, our hearts wave?
With
each color strewn upon the ground, I want to be reminded of where my
cares belong.
At
His feet.
