When fear knocks and hearts are pressed sore,
   The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
When fussing starts and snapping finishes,

When worries come and doubts assail,

When dishes pile and lists don't quit,
   The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
When I don't yield and hardness comes,

When sin is glaring and guilt is spread,

When dreams are lost and failure comes,

When illness strikes and life is slipping,

When hope is shattered and grief moves in,

When I forget and He's far away,

When I am weary and demands are more,
