We Want to See

John 12:21 Message
Sir, we want to see Jesus. Can you help us?

We want to see Jesus.
There is a whole world, crying, who want to see Jesus. Begging, can you help us?
We are often begging. How can I see Him? Where? What hoops do I have to jump through to catch even a glimpse of Him?
It is not a matter of wanting to gaze at Him for hours on end. A simple peep will do.
Any detection of Him at work in our lives will satisfy.
So how can we look at Jesus?
Jesus Himself tells us a few verses down.
If any of you wants to serve Me, then follow Me. Then you will be where I am.
John 12:26 MSG
To be where someone else is, translates into your ability to detect them, look at them, even be eye to eye with them.
Jesus clearly communicates our ability to see Him is based on two things: to follow Him and to serve Him.
When we follow Him, we WILL see Him.
In a world desperate for a glimpse of Jesus, find ways to serve Him.
And they too, will have the opportunity to glimpse the Savior.
